Week 6
Still plugging on with my workouts. Diet was not 100% this weekend because Kelsey had a soccer tournament both Saturday and Sunday and I wasn't prepared with my meals. Dewayne has been working 12 hr days and it has been really hard adjusting. I know this isn't excuses for not planning ahead.... this was just a learning experience how you have to plan ahead and adjust to what it given to you daily.
In this post I have included the beautiful Mary Roberti which motivates me daily. She is part of the GPO Team and competed in the Arnold Classic 2010 and looked freakin' AWESOME. She is so encouraging and has such an upbeat blog. I look forward to it every morning to get my day going. She is such a sweet person. I am so glad that I got to meet her in person.
I honestly want this so much. I want to get in shape. I have felt so much better... but today I feel bloated and gassy. Not sure why. Maybe the yucky food this weekend. Didn't cheat much.... but the little bit makes a difference.
I'm not gonna kick myself in the butt or give up... I am just going to plug on and give it my all!!! I did my cardio this evening at the gym and just about sweat to death it was so hot in there. I came home and did a few loads of clothes and then decided to get outside and run up and down my driveway to get some more cardio in. The end of our driveway has a hill from he$$. I did it a few times just to get in more cardio in. OH... then I forgot.... me and one of my girlfriends walked today at lunch also.... so more cardio.
I will try to update more because this gives me something to look back on. I am proud of myself so far. I've got a long way to go.... but I will proceed everyday to give it my best shot!!!

One month down!!!!
Hey~~
Just wanted to post a quick post. One month down on my program already!!! I'm getting results and I am soooo excited!! My weight is down 4 pounds.... I have lost 3" in my waist and 2 1/2 inches in my hips. I am so proud of myself!!! I know that I can do this.
I am dedicated to this process and to getting in the best shape of my life. The older I get, the more determined that I am to stay active and healthy for myself and my family. I want to set goals and achieve them. I have a goal that I am gonna reach. (I'll let you in on it as it gets closer for me)
Just keep reading and motivating me to move on!!!
Can't wait to see what my trainers have to say!!!

Week 4
Hey guys~~
Just had an awesome leg workout!!! Didn't go to the gym.... just stayed home and busted my butt (literaly). Told Kelsey that I would be running in and out from the garage to get my workout in. I am feeling stronger everyday. Now tomorrow or the next day, I probably won't be able to walk.
Eats have been 95%. I know that I didn't get my water intake in today. Seems like every time I tried to go fill up my water bottle, Dr. was looking for me. He probably was wondering where I was going continually. When you drink.... you gotta pee!!!
I look at pictures continually to motivate myself. I want this so bad. Just pulled out the summer shorts this evening for Kelsey..... and tried on some of the shorts that I bought last year (too little for me) and they are still snug. So that means that I still have lots of work to do. I bought them little for a purpose. I knew that I was going to get in better shape this year and I wasn't happy with my figure last year. This way, I am sure to make changes. Nothing is going to stand in my way.
Still have my snack to eat this evening. Gonna get in the shower first.
Well, just wanted to keep myself accountable. I have to take pictures this Sunday. Have to bust my butt this week!!!

Sunday.... and all about Arnold
Two of the girls that has kept me accountable for my nutrition and workouts, the beautiful Lishia Dean and Jen Hendershott.
Hey all~~
Hope everyone has had a phabulous day!! I went back to the gym with Kelsey today and had a AWESOME back workout. Also did my 45 minutes of CRAZY cardio. Kelsey had a College Soccer Trainer come work with a few girls today at the gym..... and he likes to aggravate me and he told me to come back the last 1/2 hour of their workout to do abs with him. So did I take him up on his challenge?.... YOU BET!! At this point I was totally wiped out with my own workout.... but I got my butt on the field and worked out with the girls. He kept telling me "Come on Mama.... let's do it!!" All I can say.... I tried to hold my own.
I feel GREAT right now. It has been 3 full weeks of totally CLEAN eating and I do notice that I feel 100% better. My energy level has increased MAJOR. I don't have that sluggish sugary bloat that I always had before. Just going to the grocery store today after my workout.... I didn't even want to put that stuff in my buggy. I love it!!!!
Just wanted to touch base on the Arnold Classic 2010. If it is motivation that you need, plan on attending next year. I'm telling you... when you leave there, you are so motivated to get back into your workout routine. I have set my goals high and I am going to reach them. I just am not willing to tell at this time what they are. I will share eventually.
Well, that is it for now. Gotta go get some things accomplished at home. Back to work tomorrow.

I've Got My Boom Boom Pow!!!
Hey all~~
I've got so much to post on.... I've just been sooooo busy.
Just got home from the gym about 1 hr ago and got an AWESOME shoulder/arm workout in. I was in the zone.... felt great!!! Eats have been right on except for my protein shake this afternoon. Actually ran out of protein and hubby forgot to stop by GNC last night coming home from work. Gotta love him!!!
Went to the Arnold Classic this weekend..... and boy am I motivated. I'll have to do a separate blog just on the Arnold. Met some of my friends that I have made on facebook. They welcomed me with open arms and told me that I can do this!!!
Well, just wanted to update myself on this journey. This is hump day of Week 3 and I can tell in my workout clothes that my behind is getting a little tighter. Thinking tiny and tight every time I do a squat!!!!
I'll keep you updated!! Have to go finish my ebay before I go to bed.

LEAVING FOR THE ARNOLD CLASSIC TOMORROW!!
I am soooooo excited!!! Leaving for the Arnold Classic tomorrow!! I love this show!!! You get to meet some familiar names and faces that you see in fitness magazines. I know several of the girls that are competing in the Fitness Show this evening. I can't wait to see how they placed.
Went last year and came home with several samples of protein, protein bars, etc.
Hubby may not get to go with me which is a bummer, but my son is coming up Saturday morning to meet me to go with me. Just driving up tomorrow to spend the evening with some good friends. Taking my daughter, mom, and my nephew with me. They aren't going to the event though.
Got to go check to see if I can find out who placed!!!
